After School

In This Section

The school day is extended to 5.30pm everyday by our Enrichment Programme in addition to the very popular Teatimers, or for the Upper School children there is Homework Club.

The Enrichment Programme plays an important part, not just in developing children’s sense of self-worth, but also in encouraging them to play a wider role in the life of the school and the Carrdus family. To extend and enrich our school curriculum, we offer a huge range of before and after-school clubs, providing everyone with exciting opportunities to expand their horizons and try something new. From numerous art and sports clubs to science and roller skating, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The latest Enrichment Programmes can be viewed here:

After School Club or Teatimers as it's known, is run from 3.40pm – 5.30pm every day. The children can relax with their friends and play games under the care of teaching staff. Alternatively the older children can join the Homework Club in a quiet space supported by a teacher. All children have a snack and a drink to keep them going until supper time. Children who have attended a club that finishes at 4.30pm can then join Teatimers until 5.30pm.
