The school day is extended by a variety of clubs in addition to the very popular Teatimers ‘club’, where the children can relax with their friends or do their homework until 5.30pm.
Clubs play an important part, not just in developing children’s sense of self-worth, but also encouraging them to play a wider role in the life of the school and the Carrdus family. To extend and enrich our school curriculum, we offer a huge range of before- and after- school clubs, providing everyone with exciting opportunities to expand their horizons and try something new. From numerous Art and Sports clubs to Gardening and Roller-Skating, there really is something for everyone to enjoy
Teatimers is available from 3.30 – 5.30pm every day. The children can relax with their friends, play games or watch a DVD under the care of teaching staff. Alternatively the older children can do their homework in a quiet side room. All children have a snack and a drink to keep them going until supper time. Children who have attended a club can then join Teatimers until 5.30pm.
